Back in 2003, Anna Schuleit installed many, many flowers and grass (sod) in a New England mental hospital, following the building’s permanent closing, in an exhibition called Bloom. The building has since been demolished, despite being on the National Register of Historic Places beginning in 1994. More photos of the installation here.
